This paper piercer is great for making fine and precise holes in your craft project. Ideal for when you want to insert brads, or create an area to stitch your own pattern.
This pokey tool is also perfect for using with your die cut shapes and metal cutting dies. The pin point end can push out your fiddly little bits of your die cut shapes on intricate designs. It can also push out the left over bits on your cutting die when they get stuck in the blade design.
I also find this tool very handy for using with peel off stickers. It's great for lifting up small pieces of the sticker design from the sheet, and even transfers the pieces over to your craft project nicely. It helps to precisely place your sticker before sticking it down.
One other useful reason to have this pokey tool, is to lift off the backing of your double sided sticky tape. After you've put your tape onto the back of your item, use the pin end to lift the backing and reveal the sticky adhesive. It saves you from scuffing your nails and scratching away at the sticky tape trying to release it!
You can even use the pokey tool with flatback adhesive gems. Simply use the pin end and lift up the gem from the acetate sheet. The gem will adhere to the pin end and you can transfer it over to your craft project and precisely position it where it needs to go!
Pokey tools are ideal for using with flower forming. Once you've made your flower, push the pokey tool into the centre (to create a little hole) and then thread some flower stamens through the hole made from the pokey tool!
