Say hello to the cutest critters with the Gemini Peek-A-Boo Stamp and Die Collection! Create the most pawsome projects with the Bear set, which features a number of stamps and dies to help you add a curious cub to the front and interior of your cards.
This concept has been designed to help you add the front of a character peeking over the edge of a window on the front of a card, and the back of the character on the interior. This gives a fun peek-a-boo effect that your recipients will love.
In this set you will receive 2 dies and 11 stamps:
• 1 cutting die to cut out the top and sides of the bear head
• 1 cutting die to cut out the top and sides of the word "Bear"
• 1 stamp of the front of the bears head
• 1 stamp of the back of the full bear
• 9 sentiment stamps - I just can't, I made this with my own, Papa, Mama, to be without you, baby, hands, sending you big, hugs
It is important to mention that these two cutting dies only cut out around the top and sides of the shapes. They do not cut out around the bottom of the pieces. This is because they are designed to be cut into card and create a stand-up shape in an aperture area. They can also be used as a top edge'able. Please see the sample image below for a good example of how they are used as aperture cut-outs.
Should you want to cut out the entire bear head or bear body, you would need to use scissors or a craft knife to achieve this. The cutter will cut out the top of the head, the ears and the sides of the head, but you would need to manually cut the rest of it yourself if you are wanting to make toppers.
When stamping your sentiment, why not experiment with different inks to produce different effects, or use a clear embossing ink then use embossing powders!
The stamps are made from the highest quality clear acrylic, which means that you can see straight through the stamp to line up the image accurately. Just adhere your chosen stamp to an acrylic block or stamping press, and stamp away! This means that you're guaranteed accurate impressions every time.
Cutting dies are for using with your die-cutting machine. Gemini dies are flat, thin, steel dies which work with most major die-cutting machines. Please refer to your own manufacturers handbook which came with your cutting machine, to find out how to sandwich your cutting plates, cutting die and cardstock.
