To create beautiful 3D flowers, all you need is a die-cutting machine, your chosen flower/petal die and your flower forming foam. Run the die and foam through your machine to create your flowers. Once you've cut your flowers out, you can heat them to be moulded, distress the edges and colour them to make them more realistic and beautiful!

When heating your foam flowers, you can use either a craft iron or a heat embossing gun. The foam heats instantly, so don't leave it heating too long!

When moulding and shaping your flowers, you can use a flower forming ball tool, or simply use an embossing stylus from your craft stash. Play around with different sized ball ends, as each size will result in a different effect on your finished flower.

You can also distress the ends of your petals with a petal distressing tool. Or you can simply scrunch the tips of the petal into your finger tips/nails to create your own realistic effect!

Before heating your petals, why not use ink pads or craft markers to add detail to your petals. Draw lines and marks in your flowers, or use a foam sponge to dab colour onto the tips of each petal.

Once you've built your foam flower, try pushing a pokey tool into the centre (to create a little hole) and then threading some flower stamens into it.

There really is so much you can do with flower forming foam, and the end result looks beautiful!
