The empty crafty crates each measure approximately 8cm wide x 5cm deep x 5cm tall when built up. The overall height of each crafty crate will depend on how and where you choose to stick all of the little toppers when decorating it. The height can usually double, once the toppers are in place, making the finished and completed crafty crates approximately 10cm tall.
The crate base sheets measure 18cm x 21cm. These sheets include front and backs (and sides) for each crate, and four dividers which fit horizontally inside each crate. These dividers have pre-scored tabs making it easy to attach them to the inside of the crates. The dividers are used to attach the toppers and elements so that you can create an amazing 3D design.
The toppers sheets measure 30cm x 21cm. These sheets include all of the topper elements which you decorate your crates with. There's so many elements to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice on how you want to piece it all together!
Once you have your completed and finished 3D crafty crate, you can easily fold them flat so that they will fit into an envelope! The envelopes are supplied with this kit, but it is worth mentioning that they are an oversized envelope, to ensure adequate room is given for your crate to fit inside.
All pieces in this kit are die cut, which means you can simply push them out from the sheet they are held in (scissors may be required to remove some of the holding tabs, to avoid damaging the item when removing from its placement).
All pieces are pre-scored as and where necessary, making it extremely simple for you to fold the pieces where needed.
The 3 sheets of toppers have lovely gold foil printed elements to them. Some are accent foiled, others have a gold border/edging. Simply stunning!
A useful tip is to place larger toppers at the back of the crate so that the smaller ones can be seen clearly at the front. Doing it this way also creates extra dimension on the stunning 3D crates.
Another thing to consider is making sure you don't stick your toppers too "high" on the crates, otherwise they may not fit inside the envelopes supplied with this kit.
Important Note:
You will need double sided sticky foam pads and/or glue to stick all of these pieces together. Choose your own preferred type of adhesive and you are all set to go!
